- Whose account this runs on. Your read runs on the house's own reading-service account, on the house's key — there is nothing for you to set up.
- What is kept, and for how long. When you begin your read, your pages are sent to the house’s own server and held there only while your read runs; they are deleted at delivery. The house’s server sends your pages to the reading service that reads them, and nowhere else. The house keeps your sealed delivery, counts and a run log — the run log never holds a word of your text — and the run log is purged thirty days after your read is delivered, together with your delivery.
- Who verifies what. Where the reading service requires an account to be verified before it can stream, that verification is the house's step — never the writer's. No writer is ever asked to verify anything here.
- What your seat covers. One complete read of one manuscript. Your Elevation Brief — the full walkthrough of your manuscript, unit by unit — is part of that read and is delivered with it. What a seat costs is on the pricing page.
- Your region. The house's key does not yet reach every country the reading service serves. Where it doesn't reach yours, your seat is kept and nothing is used — write to us and we will tell you when it does.
