Today The Reader’s Verdict reads manuscripts written in English. Native languages are coming soon.
We would rather tell you exactly where the line sits today than let you find it after you have paid.
English, fully proven
Every part of the read — the counting of your chapters, the eight gates, the measurements behind every number in your documents, and the documents themselves — has been proven end to end on real English manuscripts. That is the standard we hold ourselves to before we will take a writer’s money, and today English is the only language that has met it.
If your manuscript is written in English, everything on this website applies to you, exactly as described.
Native-language reads
The Reader’s Verdict is being built to meet a manuscript in the language it was written in, and it is close. The work that remains is proof: every language is being tested on real, full-length novels written in it before it is offered, so that the numbers in your documents are as true in the writer’s own language as they are in English. A language opens here only when it has passed that test — not before.
The translated editions of this website are paused while that work finishes. They will return with the languages the read can honestly serve, so that a page in your language never promises a read we cannot yet give you.
If you write in another language and would like to hear the moment yours opens, write to us: support@lovingmywords.com.
Please wait for your language rather than send it now.
Until your language opens, we cannot give a manuscript written in it the read this website describes, and we will not sell you one. The free manuscript check tells you before you buy. And if a manuscript that is not in English is uploaded anyway, the door stops it at upload — before your seat is used and before a single page is read. You are never handed a verdict we don’t believe in.
